The ever singing, dancing and romancing Vikings from Kuala Lumpur are back to retain their football, film and top scorer trophies from 2017. On the back of last years successes (and the fact its a 45 minute flight to Singapore), KL are entering 2 fierce/fumbling teams in hopes of the first all Malaysian final. A healthy mix of Nords and Nots, KL will be putting in some serious air miles to be in Singapore; despite being just a bus journey away. Returning Vikings will be journeying from Spain, Italy, Denmark and to pull on the famous red jersey and trot out onto the hallowed turf with hazy eyes and wobbly legs.
Expect to see: pitchside salsa; a 70% Carlsberg filled Geordie; 20 minute team talks in scouse; a world record (slowest) boat race; unrivalled baldness, and a group of 30 mat-sallehs putting in as much of a shift off the pitch as on it.
“I wanna be a KL ranger….”
